Using this vise is a breeze. First, ensure that it is firmly attached to your workbench with a secure swivel base lock. Open the vise by rotating the handle counterclockwise, and then place the item you need to work on between the serrated jaws. Tighten the vise clockwise until the item is secure and immovable, but avoid over-tightening to prevent damage. When you're done, simply release the item by turning the screw handle counterclockwise.

Adjust the reserved space for the workpiece by rotating the bolt, and then place the workpiece into the jaw and tighten it down.
